How to clean carpets

in an ecological way

Baking soda is a real panacea for house cleaning and it is enough to spread a little on the carpet, leaving it to act for a few hours (insisting on the spots where there are stains). Then let's vacuum it with a vacuum cleaner, brushing it.

Furthermore, thanks to its powers, baking soda is also able to absorb the bad smells that the carpet imprisons.

Another ecological way to clean carpets is to do it through steam using the appropriate appliances that produce it. If we want to give off a good scent, add a few drops of essential oil of the perfume we like best (such as lemon, white musk, mint or vanilla) to the water of the machine and the house will be scented in an instant.

Vinegar is also another natural product that is very useful for cleaning the house and if the stains we have on carpets are very persistent, pour the baking soda mixed with vinegar over them. As soon as the mixture stops fizzing, dry everything with a microfiber cloth. Our carpet will be as good as new!
