Reduce heat build-up

Ventilated roofs are particular roofing systems adopted to remove the heat that would normally accumulate inside the roof structures.

For their construction, pay attention to leave a small ventilation channel between the roof (often terracotta tiles) and the layer of thermal insulation covering the roof.

This creates a flow of air caused by the heat itself that causes cooler air to flow into the air ducts, thus removing part of the heat, this solution improves thermal insulation in summer.
