Types of paints

base glue, lime and natural resins

Usually the paints are made of a binder (or vehicle), a pigment that gives opacity and strength and a solvent (or diluent) that allows to obtain the desired consistency.

For the treatment of walls and ceilings we recommend the use of tempera based on glue, lime and natural resins, without harmful effects on health.

lime based paints
  • The glue-based paints, very economical, are used for interiors. Pigments and vegetable glue (rubber, starch dextrin) are used for coloring.
  • Lime based paints provide excellent coverage. They are used in rooms where the heat is strong and humid (bathrooms, kitchen, laundry and often for the shelters of the animals being the lime an excellent antibacterial.
  • Paints based on natural resins, composed of natural resins, vegetable oils, beeswax, pigments and mineral fillers do not use any diluents and brushes that are simply washed with soap and water.
