Armrest padding

There are different types of armrests, we see those with exposed wood:

1. Armrest padding separated from the back (bergère type with wings).

The strong canvas inside the armrest supports the horsehair packaged by the padding cloth and the legacciuoli. The white canvas covers the whole and supports the wadding and the final fabric.

To avoid the hollowing, the empty space under the crossbar is filled with vegetable hair and closed by the strong external canvas which in turn supports wadding and final fabric.
